The Quadruped Armored Vehicle is a robot piloted by Wild Dog. It is the first boss of Time Crisis 5.
Overview[]
The Quadruped Armored Vehicle has four robotic legs and two levels. The lower level has eight charging cannons firing projectiles (four on each side. In solo play, only those on the respective player's side needs to be destroyed), and three twin turrets (they do not fire at all. They can be shot but no lifebar is shown). The main body of the quadruped armored vehicle is the second level, in which there are three twin turrets (they do not fire at all. They can be shot but no lifebar is shown), 20 auto-repairing rocket launcher silos, a railgun mounted on a turret and a twin turret-mounted cannon on each side (they do not fire at all and cannot be shot).
Weakpoint[]
The Quadruped Armored Vehicle weakpoint is the energy cells on the turret which are protected by metal covers. There is one energy cell at the left and right sides of the turret, and three at the rear.

For shots on each weapon or weakpoint, the scoring is as follows:

In-Game Appearance[]
The Quadruped Armored Vehicle first appeared in Stage 1 Area 3 where it surprised V.S.S.E. agents Luke O'Neil and Marc Godart after they cleared an alley of "Normal" class and red drudges by firing a railgun. After the V.S.S.E. agents dodged the railgun beam, Wild Dog mocked them before entering the cockpit.
After the quadruped armored vehicle is destroyed, another appears in Stage 3 Area 3 which ambushes the V.S.S.E agents while they are pursuing Wild Dog's escaping armored vehicle, forcing them to stop their motorbikes and dodge a railgun beam by driving in either left or right direction. Unlike the one in Stage 1 Area 3, destroying the energy cell on the left or right side of the turret destroys the quadruped armored vehicle.
In Stage 4 Area 3, Keith Martin and Robert Baxter fight in a section of Wild Dog's factory which has turrets and bodies of quadruped armored vehicles being manufactured and assembled.
